Ongoing Management and Maintenance

At Trace, 'aftercare' means the ongoing management and maintenance of the systems we install. Like many aspects of a property or structure, waterproofing systems require regular maintenance to ensure their long-term effectiveness.

50 years+ family business

When you employ Trace, you are buying into 50+ years of a family's dedication to understanding and dealing with problems of moisture in buildings. As a provider of long term guarantees which add value to client property, we understand the importance of longevity and we are not going anywhere.

Regular Service Visits

Our in-house full-time Service Engineer conducts routine maintenance visits, typically:

  • Three or six months after installation completion
  • Annually thereafter

During these visits, we inspect and clean the entire system, including pumps, alarms, and batteries, ensuring everything functions optimally.

The Importance of Maintenance

Many companies neglect this crucial step, leaving clients to source third-party maintenance providers—introducing split liabilities—or, worse, leaving systems completely unmaintained. This lack of upkeep can lead to significant issues. Waterproofing maintenance is no different from car maintenance—you wouldn’t drive around with flat tyres.
